Film audiences are an important factor which influences the way the film is made because they are the consumer who pay to watch the film or buy DVDs which provide the money to the film industry to carry on making movies. There are many different audiences who like different genres and sub genres which the film makers have to take into consideration as they will be the main targets that the film have to appeal to. Thriller is very popular with the audiences because of its versatility as it can create great movies on its own or become a sub genre and great more depth by becoming integrated with other genres. Most film audiences can potentially enjoy thriller movies but it is usually aimed at teenagers to young adults who enjoy suspense and tension, where as other types of film genres are aimed at older people who prefer deep plots.
