Preliminary Match Cut Exercise

For this exercise we had to create a film sequence with some speech dialogues about a character opening a door but trying to make sure we used at least one match cut and a shot/reverse shot. We also had to make sure that we followed the 180 degrees rule in filming, which states that the character cannot change from one angle of the camera to an opposite angle which would confuse the audience because it wouldn't make sense if the character suddenly moved from one place to another.

This is our editing process where we had to trim our individual clips with the in and out function on final cut pro and put them back together in order. 

After we finished our editing of the clips we added some titles like the name of the film and to follow the rules of conventions of a film opening.

After we added in the title our editing process was finished.
