Preliminary - Sound

For this exercise we also needed some dialogue between 2 characters which we edited in and made it louder and clearer because the mic on the videocamera couldn't record some sounds properly while  filming the video. The added sound which was edited in at the end helped to create an effect of authenticity because if the actions caught on the video camera didn't have any sounds it would have been confusing to the Audience.

This is an image of the editing process that we used to fix some of the sounds which wasn't picked up by the mic properly. We change the length and the pitch by extending the sounds in some areas to make it clearer by reducing it or taking it out altogether in others. This on a whole allowed our preliminary film opening to create the effects of tension that made our film more interesting for the viewers.
